One idea is to try getting away to an Inn or B and B to spend a relaxing night together where you can enjoy a nice dinner and qualty time together. However to do this you first need to find out what he or she likes.
There are many ways to show how you feel on this occasion. One way is prepare or go out for a nice dinner. Candle light and a nice bottle of wine is a good start.

The possibilities are endless even on a limited budget. It has been my experience that sometimes the simplest of ideas are the most romantic.
